I’ve been neglecting to post my cinemagraphs as I finish them! I prefer looking at them on Tumblr cause they look much better when they’re small.

Moonbow: a rainbow made by the light of the moon.
Our pal Mcheung tells us all about how he shot this one this past weekend!
This weekend was the best moonbow-photographing weekend of the year!
A moonbow is essentially the same thing as a rainbow, except that it happens at night. It’s a pretty rare phenomenon that only occurs in a few places on earth.

I think I fixed it? Did I fix it? Please say I fixed it.
Not perfect but it’s a bit better. I’ll come back to it, have to try and get the others done as well.

The original plan with this way to get the flags but honestly it was so confusing trying to get them all going at different times and different lengths of loops and I gave up. Tried animating just one but that looked a bit silly. Then I tried the bike and it looks…not great… It’s really choppy at some bits and I’m not sure why because that’s the video frame for frame. Hmm.
Oh well. I’ll keep trying.

The camera shop down the road phoned me and told me they’d had this CD of photos sitting there since October. Do NOT remember putting this roll of film in for development but it’s got some right gems on it.

This cardboard camera really works! It can shoot 40 photos and comes with a USB cord.
Ikea gave it away at a design expo in Milan, but there’s a chance they’ll be selling these in stores.

Right, this is one from my actual project. I’m not overly chuffed with this and I might come back to it and change it from a full-body loop to just the hands and pipes if I have time at the end.
